OUR MISSION
Our mission is to instill the love, hope, and healing of Jesus Christ in the vulnerable youth of Santa Cruz, Bolivia by being a bridge to a flourishing future through meaningful relationships, advocacy, and empowerment.

To spark lasting change in the individual and community by emulating a loving family through holistic care that displays the love of Jesus Christ.

METHODOLOGY:

We believe that every life has purpose and value. We are therefore committed to developing a deep-rooted relationship with each youth where we consistently show them
unconditional love and encourage them to a flourishing future. We believe the choice and ability to leave the streets and pursue a flourishing future is theirs, so our focus is to patiently and consistently encourage them to choose a better tomorrow.
OUR ANCHOR

It says in Hebrews 6:19 that we have a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that is Jesus Christ. It is this verse from the Bible where Anchor of Hope finds its mission and name. Anchor of Hope believes the hope of the gospel can transform lives when Christ is one’s Anchor. This happens when we have a personal relationship with God, repent from sin and trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior. Because of God’s grace and his immeasurable love, He sent his son Jesus to live a perfect life on our behalf and then take the punishment for all our sins by dying on the cross. Three days later Jesus rose again, conquering the power of sin and death, making it possible for those who trust in the Lord to find eternal life in Him.
Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose”. Therefore, we can trust that for those who are in him everything will always work out according to God’s perfect plan which will be for our good and for His glory. So, in the calm and in the midst of the storm, Christ is our anchor and we can find our eternal hope in Him.

In Spanish, Anchor of Hope is Ancla de Esperanza. We chose this name because our desire is that each child we reach would find their hope in God who is the anchor of our soul.
Ancla de Esperanza was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in July of 2016.
